'01 A8L in for a replacement oil cooler. The coolant system was literally filled with oil and the oil pan was filled with coolant. A very scary situation for the owner. We thought at first that it was a head problem but the self-contained oil cooler was the culprit. The car will need to be flushed multiple times before this mess has been resolved.

We don't just take the easy jobs... this customer's '98 A6 is receiving its 90,000 mile service. The entire front of the car is removed to access the belt, water pump, seals, rollers, etc. You wouldn't want just anyone doing this to your car!

(and yes, it is back on the road in one piece!)

'98 A4 1.8T came in with a bad head - oil pressure problem in one of the ports. If we find that the block is undamaged we'll be replacing the head and complete the timing belt service. If the block is damaged we'll replace the motor with a good used low mileage engine. This job will cost the customer approx. 1/3 of the competing estimate which entailed purchasing a new short block for $7,500.00. That price didn't include the labor. (Ŧ See note below.)

'93 S4 20V came from Charlottesville needing brake work, trans. mounts, suspension parts, etc. The competing estimate was $2,600.00. Ours came in at $1,500.00 with a little breathing room. The customer's actual cost will be higher because we have found additional issues that the other shop over-looked. (Ŧ See note below.)
